What are the different types of drip irrigation systems?
The different types of drip irrigation systems are:

Subsurface Drip Irrigation System
This is a type of drip irrigation system that is installed below the surface of the soil. It is also known as underground drip irrigation system.
The subsurface drip irrigation system passes water directly to the root zone of the plants. It usually last longer than the surface drip irrigation system because the rays of the sunlight does not affect it.
Surface Drip Irrigation System
This is a type of drip irrigation system that involves the laying of the drip irrigation lines on the surface of the soil.
The surface drip irrigation system is used for irrigating all types of crops. It is very common in vegetables farming.
Drip tape
Drip tape is a type of thin, flexible plastic tube with emitters installed or placed at equal distances on it.
Drip tapes are usually used to irrigate crops planted in straight rows. They can be buried or laid on the surface of the soil.
Laser Spray Tubes or Microsprinkler Hoses or Rain Hoses
Technically, this type of hoses is a type of drip irrigation system as it passes water to the plants. The laser spray tubes also called rain hoses sprays or sprinkles water to the surface of the plants.
Bubblers
Bubblers are small, low-flow emitters that release water in equal quantity or volume. Bubblers are usually used to irrigate crops planted in containers and small area.
Emitter line
Emitter line is a type of drip irrigation system that consists of a length of plastic tubing with emitters placed at various distances on its length. It is usually used to irrigate tree crops like cocoa, mango, cashew and oil palm etc.
It can also be used to irrigate vegetables and broad acre crops.
What is Drip Irrigation?
Drip Irrigation is the wetting of crops at the root level through the use of a form of pipe or hose with emitters. The emitters emit water in a trickle form.
With drip irrigation, you can be sure that your crops will efficiently utilize water. Most of the water you pass to the base of your crops will be used well. No run offs like other forms of irrigation.
